Harold Ens is a retired teacher and MB missionary living in Fresno, California. He grew up on a farm near Dinuba and Reedley. He graduated from Fresno State University and spent 10 years teaching secondary math in Colombia, Congo and California. After attending MB Biblical Seminary for a year, he and his wife, Helen, and their family served as missionaries in Panama from 1977 to 1985. The family spent six years in Hillsboro, Kansas, where Ens was the MB Mission and Services secretary for Latin America and Iberia. He was ordained in 1991 and the family relocated to Fresno where Ens served for 13 years as general secretary for MBMS International, previously MBMS and currently Multiply. He transitioned from that role in 2004, returned to the classroom for three additional years before retiring in 2004. Harold and Hellen have three children and 10 grandchildren. They have been members of Butler Church in Fresno for 32 years.
