One hundred and five high school youth and 25 volunteers representing 11 churches gathered at Cedar Canyon Camp in Rapid City, South Dakota, Nov. 21-24, 2024, for the Central District’s Fall Youth Conference.

Speaker Alex Janzen, pastor of Community Bible Church in Mountain Lake, Minnesota, shared a series titled, “God’s Big Story.”

Members of the Tabor College band For His Glory led singing.

Youth served the community through Love Inc. by working in the donation warehouse and helping set up for a fundraising banquet.

On-site activities included a zipline, paintball, rock wall climbing, games and coffee. New this year was the CD Youth Olympics, during which church groups battled for the “golden mailbox” traveling trophy to take home for the year.

“(Youth) experienced deep Christian fellowship and fun both in their church groups and making new friends from other MB churches,” says Jon Annin, youth committee chair and lead pastor of Stony Brook Church in Omaha, Nebraska. “The event was highly successful.”
