USMB is sponsoring a two-part webinar series on discipleship with Ben Connelly, director of training at Saturate.
Connelly is a familiar resource person among USMB pastors and leaders. In early 2020, Connelly was the presenter at LEAD One workshops on “Gospel Fluency,” held in a number of districts before COVID-19 restricted gathering and travel. The one-day workshops coordinated by Don Morris, USMB national director, focused on sharing Christ effectively.
The webinar presentations and discussions will center around Connelly’s new book, A Field Guide for Genuine Community.
In “Discipleship in Everyday Life,” scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 10:30 a.m. CDT via Zoom, Connelly will lead an interactive discussion on disciple-making churches, various discipleship environments and helping equip people for peer-to-peer discipleship Monday through Saturday.
In “Discipleship in Community,” slated for Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 10:30 a.m. CDT, Connelly will discuss the role of the community and the need for various gifts in holistic discipleship. The webinar will include tangible steps to help people disciple and care for one another.
