Perhaps more than any in recent memory, the 2020 U.S. election has meaning for Americans of many faiths.

Christian, Muslim, Jewish and other speakers will discuss the election and going forward as part of “2020 Election: What the Results Mean for America’s Faith Groups,” an interfaith conference sponsored by Fresno Pacific University, Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, the Fresno State Muslim Student Association, Theta Alpha Kappa Honor Society and Neighborly Faith.

Among the variety of events for students, faculty and staff will be two for the general public:

Micah Fries is an influential evangelical leader and speaker who has done trailblazing work to promote friendships between Christians, Muslims and Jews. He is co-author of Islam in North America: Loving our Muslim Neighbors (2018) and served as a senior pastor in Tennessee and Missouri as well as director of ministry development at Lifeway Christian Resources.
