Hofer to serve Pacific District Conference in newly created position
MB Foundation press release
MB Foundation is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason Hofer to the newly created position of regional director in the Fresno, Calif., office. Hofer joined the team Jan. 3, 2017.
Hofer is recognized throughout the Pacific District Conference (PDC), having served in both Shafter (Calif.) MB Church and Reedley (Calif.) MB Church and holding a variety of district leadership roles since 1998. He currently serves as secretary of the PDC.
Hofer not only brings his experience from the local church but also a passion for developing and leading teams. “I am excited to be part of an organization where I can be involved and develop a team to serve individuals in stewardship and generosity with the resources God has provided them,” says Hofer.
As regional director, Hofer will work closely with Dennis Fast, church relations director, in the Fresno office to serve the churches and constituency of the PDC. Additionally, working closely with other Foundation staff, he will seek ways to enhance the Fresno office to best serve and support the clients and ministries within the district.
“We are increasing our commitment to the ministries and people within the PDC,” says Jon C. Wiebe, president and CEO of MB Foundation. “We are blessed to have quality staff that understand the needs of the local church, are heavily invested in our community and are eager to serve.”
Hofer is married to Miriam and plans to continue to live in Reedley, Calif. They have three children ranging in age from eight to 14. They are an active and involved family, participating in school and sports throughout the year. They enjoy traveling and camping in the mountains and the beach.
