Ron Marlette has been hired to fill MB Foundation’s new position of chief development officer. Marlette joined the Hillsboro, Kansas, based-foundation in August and will oversee MB Foundation’s expansion efforts. He previously founded and served as senior executive of Mission Solano, a nonprofit in Fairfield, California, focusing on serving the homeless.

In addition to his more than 25 years of experience, Marlette brings his passion and motivation for how nonprofits can impact local communities and the world.

“It is a great opportunity to join the organization in its time of growth and expansion,” Marlette says. “I look forward to implementing new strategies that encourage Biblical principles of financial stewardship and generosity, which in turn bring hope and the compassion of Christ to our communities.”

As chief development officer, Marlette will serve as a member of the executive team and will provide leadership and direction in developing and marketing MB Foundation. His focus will be in supporting existing partnerships and developing new ones, giving vision to client support and planned giving.

“I am excited to have Ron on board,” says Jon C. Wiebe, president and CEO. “We have seen unprecedented growth over the last two years and Ron’s experience and passion will help us see and seize opportunities for the kingdom of God.”

Marlette and his wife, Jennifer, will relocate to Fresno, California. They have four grown children and six grandchildren.
