Former pastor to serve in newly created position

MB Foundation has announced the hiring of Dennis Fast to the newly created position of church relations director. Fast will join the Fresno, Calif., team June 1. Fast is well-known throughout the constituency, having served 16 1/2 years as senior pastor at Hillsboro (Kan.) MB Church and then serving 17 1/2 years at Reedley (Calif.) MB Church, along with a variety of conference and district leadership roles.
Fast brings vast church experience and a passion for biblical stewardship and generosity within the church. “As a pastor I have always valued partnership with MB Foundation,” says Fast. “I look forward to the opportunity to extend that partnership to other pastors and churches.”
MB Foundation is committed to helping local churches reach their full ministry potential and bringing Fast on the team speaks to this commitment.

Fast is married to Connie who recently retired from elementary school teaching to devote more time to ministry alongside her husband and be “Nanny” to their 12 grandchildren. The Fast’s daughter, Tonya Goertzen, lives in Reedley. Their son Jon is an elementary school principal in Redondo Beach, Calif., and son Kyle serves as a missionary in Costa Rica with Students International. The Fasts plan to continue residing in Reedley.
