Jorgenson to work in investment management, marketing and donor support

MB Foundation news release

MB Foundation has hired Jeff Jorgenson to fill the newly created position of director of operations. Jorgenson, who joined the team May 12, has been working in the financial services industry in investment management, trading and administration for over 30 years with such firms as Morgan Stanley, Charles Schwab and RBC Wealth Management in Denver, Colo.

Jorgenson not only brings vast financial services experience, but also a passion for biblical stewardship and generosity within the church.

“I am excited about being part of an organization where I can be involved in the process of helping people be generous with the resources that God has blessed them with,” says Jorgenson.

As director of operations, Jorgenson will work closely with other foundation staff in the areas of investment management, marketing and providing support to donors.

“The position of director of operations is being added to respond to our growing asset base and expanding responsibilities, and to help us raise the standard of excellence of service to our constituency,” says Jon C. Wiebe, president and CEO.

Jorgenson is married to JoAnne and he says they are looking forward to relocating their family to the Hillsboro community from Denver. They currently have four children at home. Ryan is a student at Tabor College in Hillsboro, Maren is a recent high school graduate heading to France for a year, Jeffrey is a high school sophomore and Annaliese is entering 3rd grade. Their oldest son, Jens, is married and living in Seattle with his wife, Attali.
