Cost reduced 20 percent over 2015 event
MB Foundation press release
Registration is now open for the second national gathering of empty nesters, boomers and builders hosted by MB Foundation (MBF). Celebrate 2017 will be held Sept. 29-Oct. 1, 2017, in Denver, Colorado. Registration may be completed online by visiting the event registration page or by calling 800-551-1547.
MBF is also excited to announce that the registration fee has been reduced dramatically to $199 per person. This is a 20 percent reduction to the Celebrate 2015 fee of $250 and is a direct response to feedback received to keep the event affordable to all.
“We are really glad to be able to reduce the registration fee while maintaining the excellent programming achieved with the first event. This wouldn’t be possible without ministry partners like Southern District Conference, Tabor College and a number of donors, who understand the importance of ministering to this segment of our church family. It is also a testimony to the commitment of our board and staff to this landmark gathering,” says Jon C. Wiebe, president and CEO of MB Foundation.
The theme for Celebrate 2017 is “Anchoring Our Faith.” Brian Myers will teach from God’s Word, helping us understand how to stay anchored during the storms of life. Back by popular demand will be The Ball Brothers on Friday night, and ventriloquist Greg Claassen will bring his hilarious and unique brand of humor to the stage on Saturday evening. Combined with good food and great fellowship, Celebrate 2017 is sure to encourage and inspire; helping us navigate the landscape of a rapidly changing world by staying anchored to the one constant, our faith.
Registrations have already started coming in. David Karber of Long Beach, California, says, “We registered early for the ‘Celebrate’ gathering since everyone that attended the first one said, ‘You should come; it’s a great experience!’ That says a lot about how meaningful the experience was for attendees. We look forward to the gathering in Denver.”
MBF is the U.S. Mennonite Brethren stewardship ministry. For more information about the gathering, contact MBF at 800-551-1547 or visit the website.
