After a full weekend in late August celebrating their 150th anniversary, the Parkview MB Church congregation gathered on Sunday morning for a worship service and group picture. When the church, then called Gnadenau, was established the congregation travelled together from Crimea to the United States and settled south of Hillsboro Kansas, forming a village with a school and a church. How can we pray for Parkview MB Church?

Pray for our work in witnessing. There are many in Hillsboro who need Jesus and many more who need to come back to walking with Jesus. Pray for us as we try to help more people do that.

On Tabor Sunday, the congregation served a grilled Hula Chicken, pancit, aloha salad and lumpia meal to Tabor College students and gave them gifts (gift cards, laundry soap, snacks, etc.) provided by the congregation.

Team Kid is the Wednesday night Awana program for 3rd-5th graders that includes music, activities, Scripture memory and small group time.

In addition to meeting Wednesday evenings, junior high and senior high youth do service projects and on Sunday help with the nursery and serve as greeters.

A meal is served Wednesday nights before Awana and youth groups.

A traditional meal of verenika made by volunteers and sausage was served as part of the 150th celebration.
