How we can pray for SMCC?
Pray that we would experience the gospel together as we take our next steps toward our 2030 vision (smccutah.org/2030-vision)
Eric Nelson was installed in June 2022 as the SMCC lead pastor, following the retirement of church planters Paul and Jini Robie who moved to Salt Lake City in March 1998 to plant a church.
SMCC is reaching the next generation of disenfranchised LDS people in Utah. People are experiencing meaningful life-change, with over 1,500 baptisms since its beginning 27 years ago.
SMCC hosted their Trunk or Treat party Oct. 28 on the Draper campus. In addition to candy, there was games, crafts and food.
SMCC exists to “help as many people as possible take their next step towards becoming fully devoted and fully delighted followers of Jesus Christ.” One of their goals is to equip 1,500 people by 2030 through SMCC’s discipleship pathway.
