Tabor College Performing Arts is on tour this spring, hitting nine cities and performing nine concerts in three states.
The Tabor College Concert Choir and Voices of Tabor, led by Gregory Zielke, along with Tabor College Brass, led by R. Christopher Teichler, are presenting “On Earth as it is in Heaven.”
“We’re most interested in seeking Kingdom moments here and now, and for me, that’s in my family, students and relationships,” says Zielke, director of choral activities. “The music and the texts we sing hint at many of the ways we might pay attention to heaven on earth. Of course, also anticipating the complete fulfillment when we experience the new heaven and new earth as described in Scripture.”
The tour schedule includes the following stops (with two final performances on March 29):
- March 15: Corn MB Church (Corn, Oklahoma)
- March 15: Fairview MB Church (Fairview, Oklahoma)
- March 16: Emmanuel Mennonite Church (Meade, Kansas)
- March 17: Iglesia Menonita Luz del Evangelio (Dallas, Texas)
- March 18: First Baptist Church (Midlothian, Texas)
- March 18: Ash Creek Baptist Church (Azle, Texas)
- March 19: Grace Point Church (La Grulla, Texas)
