USMB will host a webinar and live podcast recording, “Shifting Sands: Developing young leaders in a changing landscape,” on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 10:30 a.m. CST.
During the webinar, LEAD Pods host Matt Ehresman will discuss the current leadership development landscape with Wendell Loewen, Tabor College professor of youth, church and culture; Kyle Goings, USMB NextGen chair; and Joanna Chapa, Multiply regional mission mobilizer.
Prompted by a potential shortage of young people pursuing vocational ministry opportunities, the webinar will investigate the potential causes of this issue and what churches can do to help prepare the next generation of leaders.
“There is a critical need for developing more young leaders for ministry in our MB churches,” says USMB National Director Don Morris. “USMB plans to meet this need head-on. This important webinar is an initial piece of that plan of action. I invite everyone interested in this critical need to register and attend this webinar. The things we’ll learn will be of benefit for all of us as we tackle this together.”
