USMB invites participation in its Giving Tuesday campaign Dec. 1, 2020.

Giving Tuesday is a global day to celebrate and encourage giving on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

“Giving Tuesday is a day to give generously,” says Don Morris, USMB national director. “As you give to USMB, you are making an eternal investment in the kingdom of God.”

According to Morris, donations to USMB on Giving Tuesday will help provide support for USMB church planters and the new Church Planting Council, offer more LEAD Pods episodes for podcast listeners, give opportunity for people to participate in LEAD Cohorts, help pastors learn and grow in LEAD Coaching and fund ethnic integrated ministries such as summits, cohorts and education.

USMB hopes to raise $30,000 on Giving Tuesday 2020. In the six years USMB has participated in Giving Tuesday, donors have given $186,595, including $38,305 in 2019.

Funds raised on Giving Tuesday 2019 helped to fund a number of USMB activities. In 2020, USMB welcomed 191 participants in its spring and fall lineups of LEAD Cohorts, which are online meeting spaces for small groups to discuss specific topics; offered 22 LEAD Pods episodes with host Matt Ehresman; provided financial assistance for seven church planting projects; hosted two LEAD One events and provided one mini-summit for Congolese leaders.
