Daily meditations center on the theme, “Jesus Christ Our Peace,” and are written by seminary faculty, administrators, students and graduates, as well as faculty and administrators of Fresno Pacific University (FPU).
“We understand that life is often difficult and seemingly unfair, but we believe that in Christ we are people with a bright and eternal future,” writes Terry Brensinger, dean of the seminary and FPU vice president, in his introduction. “We are, once again, people of hope.”
The devotional begins Nov. 28 and continues through Epiphany. The final devotional notes that Jan. 6 is also the date on which the Mennonite Brethren Church was established.
The devotional will be available online Nov. 28 at http://fpu.edu/advent and through an Android app on the Google Play store.
