Donations to USMB on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, totaled $21,465.
“Thanks so much to those who provided generous donations to USMB on Giving Tuesday,” says USMB national director Don Morris. “It helps us tremendously as we strive to serve our USMB family well.”
Donations, with the following designations, will help fund USMB’s three core commitments: $18,265 for church multiplication and evangelism and the new Church Planting Council; $3,075 for leadership development, including the new Leadership Pipeline; and $125 for disciple-making through a varied lineup of LEAD initiatives.
“As indicated, all proceeds will be used for ministry initiatives, including the new national Leadership Pipeline—which is launching soon to help identify, train and equip the next generation for ministry,” Morris says. “Support from Giving Tuesday will assist us as we provide internship connections and ministry experience opportunities for prospective leaders—who will serve our USMB family in the future—or, for church planting and the new USMB Church Planting Council, which will lead a renewed national vision as we seek to plant many more Christ-centered, discipleship-focused and Spirit-led MB churches across the U.S.”
Giving Tuesday is a global day dedicated to generosity that falls on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. In the eight years USMB has been part of Giving Tuesday, donors have contributed $234,343. Visit www.usmb.org/givingtuesday to learn more.
